I am using the .net geocoding interface and cannot get addresses to geocode with Mappoint 2009, but they do with Virtual Earth and geocoder.us. Does anyone know if MP2009 is supported?

Thanks,

Chris

i think yes even the manifold doc don't explicit use the word 2009 but rather 2004 .

i already test the 3 version 2002 2004 2006 in this post and adamw speak about the last version supported in thisthread

the new html of name reality_chek speak about mappopint

"""

See the Geocoding with MapPoint topic to see how Manifold seamlessly integrates with MapPoint for street address geogoding.

"""

i have fun when read this new page because

1) my excel file don't import well when export from phpmyadmin to excel cvs .So I import in manifold and export in dbf to import in excel ( i to lazy to study why) .

2) UNIX command line interfaces arise in window behind the name of powershell .

3) IIS is implemented in core with module like apache

i not against microsoft but all OS goes to unix even Mac that choose intel instead ibm power pc cpu and better Apple choose real time Mach OS ( nextstep) for Mac OS instead beOS !! really think in the past nextep was better than all the os . Now it explain why many unix software work in Mac OS even apache on ipod touch !!!

think microsoft ll done the thing simple . microsoft is like sony against nintendo with the wii ( apple). Think also microsoft have made a good choice by having talentuous people like by Anders Hejlsberg who " exit " from borland to come to microsoft !! one guy and the wordl is better ... !!

where read the spec of WebObjects think nextstep OS was in advance from microsoft in the technical side , apple give to it the user friendly side .

don't know if what i say is a troll ? it was not my aim and no reason i change xp to other non xp OS !! xp rock's and ll wait êrhaps for window 7 even i have in mind MCE !!

for non pc user ( home consumer pc ?) go to mac !!

Yes, I have used it and it appears to work fine. It does geo code more addresses than older versions (new streets)
