Hi (sorry if this is a double-post...I put this up message earlier, but it never showed - ho hum)

I would like to be able to click on a point object or other in a Map window, and have it load a video file (e.g. in Windows Media Player or other)

This functionality exists in MapInfo where it actually has a 'Hotlink' tool, and can load video/photo from a location as defined in the accompanying hotlink table, but I'm struggling to find this sort of functionality in Manifold.

I've had a trawl through the manual and on this forum but found nothing which mentions this - can anybody shed any light on whether this is possible at all, and if it is, how one might go about doing this.

Any help appreciated, thanks

Jon

Add a column named URL to your drawing table, set the column's type to URL and populate the column with the location of your files; a web address or file path will work.

Edit: here's the relevant Help chapter: Hyperlinks.

Does anyone know of a way of making the google streets style of circular panarama ror use in manifold and on the web? When I make a circular panorama with Quicktime files, I get a 10 MB file for each circular movie. A jpeg of the same panorama would be as small as 500 K. Is there a way to get jpeg files to become 360 degree panoramas. Or is another file format the way to go.

There are many, but it may be worth a look at this 'home consumer' site at Microsoft.

Microsoft has discontinued its line of Digital Image Suite products*. Many of the digital imaging features and tools that have been enjoyed for years now can be found in new Microsoft titles and services including Windows Vistaâ„¢.

software that support panorama are

1- for register owner of canon device there is photostich

2- photoshop elements tutorial

3- panorama gimp plugin in ptutorial

hope this links ll be usefull ------------------------------------------------------------------------ microsoft force us to use vista , hope all next framework version ll be still compatible with xp
