Changes since previous update:

• There is a user profile option to toggle the display of avatars in posts between all avatars (including animated ones), static avatars and no avatars at all. Uploading an animated avatar automatically generates the corresponding static avatar.

• There is a new Announcements forum area reserved for major news related to Manifold System. The area can only be written to by Manifold staff.

• There is a new Stats page which displays the number of threads and posts on a per-month basis. Statistic figures are updated every 12 hours.

But all 'Threads' have the same Subject, don't they? I would have thought thread == subject, and only the Posts statistic was valid. Example, September 2008 -

170 1161 True 3D

(I'm qibbling). But how would there be 170 separate, distinct threads under the same subject "True 3D"?

But it's nice to see the stats page - it gives a good overview. Funny how some subjects that were big favourites in 2007 (or earlier, I presume) have been revived a year later.
